Description of (Cabinet) Forward Plan:

The Leader of the Council produces a Forward Plan detailing "Key Decisions" which are to be taken by the Cabinet, individual Members of the Cabinet, officers of the Council or under joint arrangements.

Key Decisions are broadly those which are likely to result in significant expenditure or savings or are likely to have significant effects on those living or working in an area comprising two or more Wards.

The Forward Plan is prepared on a monthly basis and contains details of the Key Decisions to be made for the four month period following its publication, including the date on which the Decision is due to be taken, who is going to be consulted and how representations can be made.

Description of Transport Consultative Group Plan:

This Plan details all decisions to be considered at the Council's Transport Consultative Group (TCG) over the four month period following its publication.

The role of the TCG is to advise the Cabinet Member for Traffic, Transport & Parking in relation to the traffic and transport matters on each agenda. The Group is formed by Councillors and Community Members.
