EXECUTIVE RESPONSE TO THE REPORT OF THE SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS TASK GROUP Additional documents:
Minutes: Cabinet considered a report of the Strategic Cabinet Member for Education, Youth and Children’s Services which included the executive response to the report of the Special Educational Needs Task Group.
Councillor Percival addressed Cabinet regarding the report and thanked the members of the Task Group for their diligent work in scrutinising the area of Special Educational Needs and outcomes for the Borough’s children and young people.

COMMUNITY RIGHT TO CHALLENGE Cabinet to consider the requirements as set out in the report the Council must meet once the community right to challenge is in force, following the publication of draft statutory guidance at the end of May. Minutes: Members considered a report of the Cabinet Member for Performance which set out the requirements the Council must meet in relation to the community right to challenge.
Resolved: That Cabinet:
1. Agrees to a timetable setting out specified periods (or ‘windows’) during which the Council is able to receive Expressions of Interest in the delivery of specific services from relevant bodies in line with the Community Right to Challenge as set out in the Localism Act 2011. |

TREASURY MANAGEMENT ANNUAL REPORT 2011-12 Members to consider the Treasury Management Annual Report for 2011/12 and the actual performance against the Prudential Indicators for 2011/12.

TWICKENHAM BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT (BID) Cabinet to consider the development of a Business Improvement District in Twickenham Town Centre to provide the resources to enable the business community to undertake initiatives to enhance and promote the economic vitality of the town.
Minutes: Cabinet considered a report of the Strategic Cabinet Member for Community, Business and Culture regarding the proposal for the development of a Business Improvement District (BID) in Twickenham Town Centre. Councillor Fleming highlighted the opportunity provided by the BID to attract new investment which would compliment existing investment monies provided by the Council for the area and to promote Twickenham. The response of local businesses was noted to be extremely positive.

RE:FIT - CORPORATE PROPERTY Members to establish and confirm the approach of the Council’s sign up to the RE:FIT scheme, a scheme to support the retrofitting and greater efficiency of corporate property. Minutes: Cabinet considered a report of the Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance and Resources which outlined the approach of the Council’s sign up to the RE:FIT scheme. The scheme would support the retrofitting and greater efficiency of corporate property.

HAMPTON NORTH UPLIFT - WAVE 2 Cabinet to consider the procurement route and process to appoint contractor(s) to undertake an external works package to support the delivery of the Hampton North Uplift Programme, specifically for Wave 2 for the demolition of the Old White House building and the creation of an open space in Hampton North.
Minutes: Cabinet considered a report of the Strategic Cabinet Member for Environment and Planning, Parks and Highways which outlined the procurement route and process to appoint contractors to undertake an external works package to support the delivery of the Hampton North Uplift Programme, specifically for Wave 2 for the demolition of the Old White house building and the creation of an open space in Hampton North.
