Children and Young People's Strategic Partnership event 2010

The annual Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership event was held at the Salon in York House, Twickenham on 12 July 2010. The event was attended by over 40 partners who are involved with the Children and Young People’s Trust Board (CYPTB). These included the Council, the Community and Voluntary Sector, elected members, NHS Richmond, the police, schools and colleges, and other community organisations.

The purpose of the event was to highlight key CYPTB achievements and challenges during 2009-10, provide an update on the 2010-11 priorities and key areas of work for 2010-11, and provide an opportunity for partners to network, which were reflected in the agenda(pdf, 79KB)

The event was opened by the chair Nick Whitfield, Director of Education, Children’s and Cultural Services. During the morning session attendees took part in an interactive quiz on performance information relating to children and young people’s services. There were then a number of presentations given highlighting key achievements and challenges during 2009-10 in a range of service areas, including from young people and a parent.
