Scrutiny annual reports

Overview and Scrutiny is required by the Constitution to report annually to full Council on the workings of the Scrutiny function.

Scrutiny newsletters

We are issuing newsletters biannually during the municipal year to give updates on different work areas of Overview and Scrutiny.

This newsletter provides information on implementing the recommendations from the external review of scrutiny and provides updates on the work of Overview and Scrutiny Committees and their Task Groups.

This newsletter provides information on the external review of Scrutiny, changes in local government scrutiny, updates on the work of Task Groups.

Details on the new Task Groups set up in September 2007. An interview with Anji Phillips regarding her experience of Scrutiny in Richmond upon Thames and information on how outside agencies and members of the public can get involved with the Scrutiny process.
