Forward Plan

The Forward Plan is published monthly and sets out all the key decisions to be taken in the next four months. The responsibility for producing it lies with the Leader of the Council.

Key Decisions are broadly those decisions which are to be taken by the Cabinet, individual Members of the Cabinet, officers of the Council or under joint arrangements and which are likely to result in significant expenditure or savings or are likely to have significant effects on those living or working in an area comprising two or more Wards.

Each Plan contains a list of the documents already submitted to the decision takers for consideration in relation to the Key Decisions set out. Other documents may also be submitted to the decision takers.

You can view the Forward Plan online and may also inspect a copy free of charge at the Council’s offices and at libraries.
