Assistant Cabinet Members

It is the role of Assistant Cabinet Members to support one or more Cabinet Members in the relevant area of responsibility. As per the Local Government Act 2000, Assistant Cabinet Members do not have any decision-making powers though it is expected that they will play a key role in helping to shape policy in their respective areas.
