Cabinet
The Cabinet and its Members (also referred to collectively as the Executive), operate within the policy framework and budget set by Full Council, and are responsible for taking most of the day-to day decisions made by Richmond upon Thames.
The Cabinet is made up of eight members and is chaired by the Leader of the Council. It usually meets once a month.
The Cabinet consists of the following:
- Councillor Serge Lourie - Leader and Cabinet Member for Strategy and Partnerships
- Councillor Stephen Knight - Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Resources
- Councillor Denise Carr - Cabinet Member for Adult Services, Health and Housing
- Councillor Jane Dodds - Cabinet Member for Performance
- Councillor Malcolm Eady - Cabinet Member for Children’s Services and Education
- Councillor Martin Elengorn - Cabinet Member for Environment
- Councillor Liz Jaeger - Cabinet Member for Youth, Culture and Leisure
- Councillor David Trigg - Cabinet Member for Traffic, Transport and Parking
- Councillor David Williams - Cabinet Member for Communities
