Installation of new street lighting in Richmond Town Centre
We are about to start the installation of new Richmond Town Centre street lights in:
- Bridge Street
- Hill Street
- The Quadrant
- The Square
- Eton Street
- Kew Road
- Paradise Road
- Red Lion Street
The works will require the disconnection and removal of the existing street lights, and the installation and connection of the new street lights.
The new street lights will be installed and connected by the Council’s street lighting term contractors, DW Lighting and EDF, commencing on 12 October 2008 with completion by 31 March 2009.
Work will take place between the hours of 9.00am and 10.00pm Monday to Friday, and 8am to 6pm Saturday and Sunday.
The work programme will be suspended for 4 weeks over the festive season, between 12 December 2008 and 12 January 2009.
Every effort will be made to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible and to minimise any inconvenience.
