Children's Executive Group

The vision of the Executive Group is to work together to ensure that children and young people living and educated in Richmond benefit from a safe and nurturing environment at home, in school and in the community, enabling them to reach their full potential.

The purpose of the Executive Group includes:

  • To be accountable to the community and other stakeholders for the quality, and outcome, of services delivered to children and their families.
  • To work in partnership with all key delivery agencies (public, private and voluntary) to deliver the best possible outcomes for children and young people
  • To oversee local implementation of the Children Act 2004 and associated legislation relating to services for children and young people
  • To act as the vehicle for developing future children’s trust arrangements
  • To act as the Youth Offending Team Management Board
