Payroll and Pensions Service

Service Objectives

The specific objectives of the Payroll and Pensions service are :

• Accurate and timely payment of salaries, wages and pensions in accordance with established pay dates.
• Cost effective administration of the Council's pension scheme
• Effective communication, promotion and marketing of the Local Government Pensions Scheme.

Customers

In the main the customers of the payroll and pension functions are internal, being all the departments and establishments of the Council, together with all its employees and pensioners.
