Home Loans Unit

Introduction

Established in 1988, the Home Loans Unit continues to deliver a quality, comprehensive mortgage administration service to mortgagors of the former Greater London Council.

Since June 1992, the Unit has also fully administered council mortgages held by the London Borough of Richmond, and from December 1997 mortgages held by the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

As the Council can no longer act as a lending source for property purchase, only the administration of existing mortgages is undertaken by the Unit.

Administration Services

The Home Loans Unit is dedicated to delivering a quality comprehensive, mortgage administration service.

The requirements of Best Value legislation heavily obligates Local Authorities to ensure that both quality and value are achieved.

An opportunity currently exists and is now being offered to all Local Authorities wishing to attain their Best Value objectives.  This Council invites you to outsource your mortgage portfolio administration to its Home Loans Unit.
