How to make a payment to the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames

By Direct Debit

Direct Debit can pay many bills. This is the easiest way to pay and has the following advantages over other methods:

You stay in control, by knowing in advance what you will be paying and when, and you are free to cancel the arrangement at any time.

  • It is more secure and reliable.
  • Most people find it more convenient, as there is no need to remember to pay, no cheques to write, and no stamps or queuing.
  • It is much cheaper for us to administer.

If you wish to pay by this method, please ring the telephone number on the front of your bill or invoice. Customers wishing to pay their Council Tax by Direct Debit should see our Council Tax page for a printable application form.

To pay Business Rates by Direct Debit, please see the Business Rates page for a printable application form.
