Audit Committee

The Council has an Audit Committee which reports direct to Council. The Committee regularly reviews the outcome of audit work and agrees the Annual Audit Plan following consultation with Departmental Management Teams and Executive Board.

All audit report recommendations are given a priority 1, 2 or 3 rating, 1 being the highest level requiring senior management action. All Priority 1 Recommendations are reported to Audit Committee and are subject to subsequent follow up and reporting until satisfactory action has been taken by the relevant manager.
