Strictly Tea Dancing…
23 January 2012, 1.30 - 3.40pm, Clarendon Hall, York House
Older residents around the borough will be treated to a number of Christmas delights this winter, thanks to savings made in the reduction of the Leader of the Council’s allowance.
In May 2010 councillors agreed that their salaries should be reduced. Lord True, Leader of Richmond Council, requested that savings from his allowance be put to one side for events and activities supporting older residents at Christmas.
As part of this older residents in the borough are invited to enjoy a wonderful afternoon of tango and ballroom with the famous Ross Mitchell Combo Band. There will be free teas, coffee and homemade cakes available too.
