Richmond Council is holding a series of meetings with the borough’s Safer Neighbourhood Teams to learn about any issues which may be arising in parks and open spaces.
Ward members and Parks Patrol officers are also taking part in the discussions with Council officers, which will look at how the parks can be made even safer for people visiting them.
So far meetings have been arranged covering Hampton North and Hampton Common wards. More are planned in the near future and residents can feed their views into the meetings, which will be held in the various parks and open spaces. People can pass concerns or comments to their ward member or local SNT officer who will be able to raise them at the meetings.
David Allister, Richmond Council’s Head of Parks and Open Spaces said: “We are very proud of our parks and open spaces, and the high levels of satisfaction with them; however we are always keen to hear from people on the ground about any issues, concerns or suggestions for improvements.”
