Fans of the Royal Family can put their knowledge of the Monarchy to the test at a quintessentially British quiz night in the borough.
Residents are invited to dress up in their best British attire for the event, hosted by Cllr Rita Palmer, The Mayor of Richmond upon Thames, to celebrate the special Diamond Jubilee year. The highlight of the night will be a quiz, based on the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, led by Casper, a well renowned Quiz Master from Greenfield Promotions. A bar and buffet will be provided as part of the event at the Clarendon Hall, York House, Twickenham, on Friday 29 June.
Councillor Palmer said: “I’m really thrilled to invite everyone to join me in celebrating sixty years of Queen Elizabeth’s reign with a dinner and trivia quiz. All of the money we raise will go towards helping two great charities that are close to my heart, The Horse Rangers Association and The Poppy Factory.
“It will be a great night of fun and a great chance to meet fellow residents of our wonderful borough. I’m looking forward to the night and to meeting many people in their patriotic outfits.”
Tickets cost £10 and are available by calling the Mayor’s office on 020 8891 7123 or emailing mayors.office@richmond.gov.uk. Doors open on the night at 6.30pm and the quiz starts at 7.30pm.
