Richmond Council will continue to serve residents’ needs during the Christmas and New Year holidays. Services which people rely on such as meals on wheels and gritting or snow clearance will continue throughout the winter.
The Council’s website www.richmond.gov.uk will be operational all the time, where people can still apply for benefits, permit or planning applications and for a host of other functions, including making payments if needed.
The only dates on which the Council’s Civic Centre offices will be closed are the Bank Holidays on Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 December, and Monday 2 January. The last three weekdays of December are normal working days and the Council will be open. Residents can still contact the Council in emergencies during times when the Civic Centre is closed, the emergency contact number for the Council’s Careline is 020 8744 2442 and this number is manned 24 hours-a-day.
Aside from Bank Holidays, the Civic Centre in Twickenham will be open as normal throughout the festive season. Office hours are Monday - Thursday 9am - 5.15pm, and Friday 9am - 5pm. Residents who wish to contact the Council by phone during the working week should call 08456 122 660.
