Equality and Diversity in Adult and Community Services
In ACS we ensure that our Service Developments and key strategic documents incorporate our legal and best practice responsibilities in respect of equality and diversity.
We have made available some of the key information about how we assess our services and proposed developments using a process known as Equality Impact Needs Assessment. This process helps us to ensure that our services meet the diverse needs of all members of our community. There are six strands of quality assessed within EINA processes performed for ACS, these are:
- Disability
- Gender
- Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender
- Race
- Religion and Belief
