Manor Circus roundabout has had a spruce-up ready for Spring thanks to partnership work between Richmond Council and Transport for London (TfL).
Local Ward Councillors teamed up to prompt TfL to carry out a much needed clear up of the roundabout on the A316. Overgrown vegetation was recently removed from the TfL-owned roundabout and crumbling brickwork repaired.
Richmond Council’s Cabinet Member for Highways and Streetscene, Cllr Peter Buckwell, said:
“We have worked hard to get the Manor Circus roundabout up to scratch and we’re delighted with the spruce up. The fallen brickwork and overgrown vegetation is now clear and I’m delighted with the improvements that have been made. It just goes to show what partnership work can achieve. We look forward to working with TfL in the future and making further improvements to Manor Circus roundabout.”
