Voluntary sector funding timetable
From 1st April 2008, the council will manage the grants programme and a timetable of arrangements has been drawn up.

| Transfer of Grants Function | |
The existing Grants Direct function and staff will transfer to the Council. The grants budgets and responsibilities to transfer are:

| The Grant Direct unit will carry out the six monthly monitoring assessment for April 2007-September 2007, including written monitoring reports and visits to funded organisations. | 15 December 2007 (Completion date) |
| Grants payments for 2007/08 will be completed subject to Terms and Conditions of Grant. | 31 December 2007 (Completion date) |
| Year end monitoring for 2007/08. | May 2008 (Completion date) |
| Grants 2008/09 | |
| All existing grant recipients will be asked to submit a workplan for 2008/09. | January-March 2008 (Completion date) |
| Subject to final budget decisions being made in December 2007 and satisfactory monitoring reports, existing recipients will receive a rollover” grant for the period 1 April 2008-30 September 2008. | April –May 2008 (Completion date) |
| A timetable for implementation of the strategic grant programme in three rounds will be agreed and communicated to the sector. Each round will be subject to consultation on developing priorities, with a clear timetable for inviting applications, decision making and monitoring. | January 2008 (Completion date) |
