Voluntary Sector Grants 2009 – Initial Guidance

The first funding round for grants starting 1 April 2009 will shortly be launched and will consider the following sectors:

  • Infrastructure and Capacity Building
  • Homelessness
  • Generalist Advice Services

The draft priorities for the above sectors will be open to comment from the voluntary sector and other stakeholders for a period of two weeks. These will be published towards the end of September. Please note that all funding rounds will be subject to an open bidding process.

Voluntary sector funding - update August 2008

The purpose of this paper is to provide an update to the local voluntary and community sector and stakeholders on the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames voluntary sector funding programme. Voluntary sector funding strategy

The Council has launched a new voluntary sector funding strategy(pdf, 53KB) which will be implemented over an 18 month period. 55 organisations covering a wide range of Arts, Leisure, Social Services and Community groups have received rollover grant funding for the period 1 April 2008 - 30 September 2009. Details of the funding priorities and application process will be published on the website once they have been agreed.
