In some of the areas Focus Groups were carried out at the end of 2008 to establish the communities’ needs and concerns and to inform the Action Plans.
Community Development Conference
The Community Development conference took place on 23 April 2009 and was attended by a variety of voluntary sector organisations, statutory bodies and the Local Authority. The conference was a success in raising the profile of Community Development work, bringing partners together and identifying potential areas to take forward.
