Making a booking for a marriage

At a Licensed Venue

If you have decided to have your civil marriage at one of our licensed venues you will need to make a booking with the venue and then book the Registration Officers with us.

You will need to ensure that the Registration Officers are available to attend your civil marriage at the venue, before finalising your booking with them.

Without their presence there can be no civil marriage. It is therefore essential that you make an advance booking with Richmond upon Thames Register Office. Bookings for the Registration Officers can be made up to one year in advance.

The latest time for a ceremony to be booked is 5pm.
