The post-natal check

It can be a good idea to have a list of questions you want to ask when you have to attend your post-natal check. If you see a doctor or nurse, you may want to ask what happened to the baby after the birth, and why. If you think you may decide later on to have another baby, you may want to ask if there is anything you can do to give the next baby the best possible start in life. This appointment could also be an opportunity to ask for counselling, if you have not already done so.
