Bereavement
Following a bereavement, over the coming weeks and months it may be helpful to get support from others, as sometimes it can be difficult to manage your feelings alone. Close family and friends can be very supportive.
There are many people to inform, and you may find helpful advice and information on our death page. If you are unsure of the area in which the burial or cremation should take place, then you may wish to visit an index offered by Bereavement Services to search for areas.
It may also be helpful to talk to someone outside the family such as a GP, Minister or bereavement support organisation.
There are links to external bereavement organisations from this page.
