Marriage

Registrations at these venues are provided by Registration Services - based at the 1, Spring Terrace (Richmond Register Office). You should confirm with this office that the required officers are available to attend before finalising your booking with the venue Manager.

  • The latest ceremony on any day is at 5pm.
  • Bookings can be made up to one year ahead.

Fees for the attendance of Registrars

From the 1 April 2007 to the 31 March 2008 the fees for the attendance of Registrars are as follows:

  • Monday to Friday: £265.00
  • Saturday: £310.00
  • Sunday and Bank Holidays: £365.00

From 1st April 2008 to 31st March 2009:

  • Monday to Friday: £275.00
  • Saturday: £320.00
  • Sunday and Bank Holidays: £380.00

Please note these fees are in addition to fees charged by venue for the use of rooms and facilities.

Please also note that there are statutory fees for the legal requirements and certificates.

Making a reservation

You can book your registrars by phone or in person. You will need to provide:

  • names of the parties to the marriage
  • nationality
  • home addresses
  • marital status
  • contact phone number
  • the venue, date and time of the wedding.

Written confirmation and advice about legal requirements will be provided.

Our opening hours from 9.00am to 12.00noon and 1.30pm to 4.00pm Monday to Friday inclusive. We are however closed on Wednesday afternoons.
