Health and safety training

This course is for all employers and employees who want to develop their knowledge of health and safety in the workplace.  While there are a number of providers, the council's Health Improvement Team provides local health and safety and food safety courses for the public.

CIEH Level 2 Health and Safety

This course provides basic health and safety skills and knowledge for all staff involved in the operation of different types of establishments.

All courses are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.

Examination papers can be provided in a variety of languages which are listed on the application form, and when requested the exam can be given via spoken questions and answers to avoid the need for written english. We are also able to arrange courses in many different languages when needed.
