Trading Standards works in partnership with local business, to help businesses understand and comply with a whole range of trading laws, most of which creates criminal offences for non-compliance.

When we visit trade premises we try to be as helpful as possible and when traders call us with enquiries we will respond as quickly and as fully as possible. We have produced leaflets and booklets on a wide range of subjects to help businesses with difficult areas of trading law.

If your business is more than just local, that is you trade regionally, nationally or even internationally we may both benefit from establishing a Home Authority relationship.
