Secure Socket Layer (SSL)
SSL technology is a way of keeping the sensitive information you submit over the Internet safe.
What are HTTPS and SSL?
HTTPS stands for Hypertext Transfer Protocol over Secure Socket Layer, or HTTP over SSL. This is the secure version of the Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP).
The information that you provide to us is important and our website uses this protocol for when you make a payment or when you provide us with sensitive personal details.
The information you provide will be encrypted and cannot be read by any party when transmitted from your computer to our servers.
You can find out more about secure web pages from the Get Safe online website.
How do I know if a webpage is secure?
If a website or a webpage is secure, web browsers like Internet Explorer or Firefox display a "padlock” icon at the bottom of the browser.
You will also see "https://" displayed in the browser's address bar.
