We use several file types to present information. To view them you may need some additional software installed on your computer.
Portable Document Format (PDF) files are designed to present information in a printer-friendly version. If you are using a Windows based machine you will need a PDF reader on your computer to open these files. You can download a copy from the Adobe Acrobat web site. Or browse for a PDF reader from a list.
We try to optimise and improve the accessibility of PDFs found on our web site to reach the widest possible audience. Recent versions of Adobe Acrobat have improved accessibility options. However, PDFs may not be readily accessible to screen readers used by some visually impaired users.
Sometimes we use file formats like Word (.doc), Excel (.xls) or Powerpoint (.ppt). If the link does not open automatically, you will need to install the appropriate viewer from the Microsoft office web site.
