Safeguarding Adults Procedures

Adult Social Services use the Protecting adults at risk-London multi-agency policy and procedures to safeguard adults from abuse (SCIE) and their local multi-agency guidelines ‘LBRuT Local Safeguarding Adults Protocol and Appendices’ to conduct their investigations.

These inter-agency guidelines are concerned with the protection of adults at risk in the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames. They are designed primarily to help staff and volunteers in both the statutory, independent and voluntary sectors to recognise and respond to cases of abuse involving vulnerable adults.
