Council Tax property bands and charges

If you have received an unsolicited letter about your Council Tax banding please read the Valuation Office Agency’s warning before taking any action to make sure you do not pay unnecessary fees.

Council Tax bands and charges for the year 2012/2013

The Council Tax for this year has reduced by 0.19% overall. The Council element of a Band D Council Tax has remained the same; the Greater London Authority element has reduced by 1%.

They can advise you on how to proceed. If you make an appeal, you still have to pay your Council Tax bill based on the current band, until the appeal is decided.
