Richmond upon Thames Partnership (RP)
The Richmond upon Thames Partnership (RP), formerly known as Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) brings together the public, private and voluntary and community sectors to improve the quality of life for all those who live work or visit the borough.
The RP operates at a level which enables strategic decisions to be taken and allows action to be determined at a local level.
The Partnership is chaired by the Leader of the Council, Cllr Nicholas True. It is a non-statutory and non-executive group that meets two times a year. The RP is responsible for the Richmond Upon Thames Community Plan 2007 - 2017, which was partly developed by the RP partners and sets out the shared vision for the borough from now until 2017.
Structure
The RP has four thematic partnerships. These are supported by sub groups, boards and forums:
- Community Safety Partnership
- Children and Young People’s Trust Board
- Cultural Partnership
- Health and Wellbeing Board
