Family cremated remains

Cremated remains plots (2' x 2') are available in both Richmond and Twickenham cemeteries. The plot is a smaller version of a traditional grave. There is a space in each plot for up to four interments of cremated remains; the cremated remains may be buried loose, in a wooden casket or in the eco box provided. Please note that only bio-degradable containers can be used.

On this section you may choose to have a memorial. There are different types of memorials available, you can either have a plaque/a headstone/a headstone with kerbs/or you may plant the grave space.

Please contact the Cemeteries Office if you would like to make an appointment to view the sections. Alternatively, a map of the cemetery can be sent to you, with the family cremated remains plots highlighted, so that you can visit either cemetery in your own time, to see if either area is suitable. You can download the application form for burial in a new grave(pdf, 47KB), complete it and send it to the Cemetery Office. An appointment for the burial can then be made which is mutually convenient.
