Environmental Management Systems - BS8555

Step-by-step three day implementation course

This training course will provide a step-by-step guide in implementing the BS8555 accredited EMS. Ideal for businesses wanted to take a staged approach, BS8555 consists of six separate phases, each of which can be individually certified. Businesses can complete stage 1-3 to implement the foundations of an EMS, move onto the next stage to become certified to ISO14001, or complete all stages to become accredited under EMAS. This three day course will guide you through the first three stages covering:

  • Commitment and Establishing the Baseline
  • Identifying and Ensuring Compliance with Legal, Other and Market Requirements
  • Developing Objectives, Targets and Programmes and Indicators
