Renewable energy seminar

A range of businesses attended this seminar on renewable energy delivered in partnership with Creative Environmental Networks.

The output, costs and suitability for commercial sites were discussed for a range of microgeneration technologies including wind energy, solar thermal hot water, ground source heat pumps, air source heat pumps, biomass and solar photovoltaic.

Advice was provided on planning considerations, Feed In Tariffs (FIT) and the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MGC). Funding options will be explored as well as the interest free loans of up to £400,000.
