Energy Efficiency

The first of this years free training events opened with a seminar on Energy Efficiency for businesses. This seminar looked at the common ways energy is used in the workplace and provided useful tips on how to be more efficient, reduce costs and improve environmental performance.

Subjects covered included:

• Understanding utility bills
• Monitoring consumption
• No and low cost options for heating/cooling, lighting and IT
• Funding incentives such as Enhanced Capital Allowances and no cost, interest free Carbon Trust Loans
