School events
A range of free events covering different environmental topics are outlined below, please email sustainability@richmond.gov.uk to suggest any further workshops that you would find useful.
Automated Meter Readers: Making the Data Meaningful
Now that automated meter readers (AMRs) are installed in most schools, this session is aimed at explaining how to make the most of the data. AMRs take a meter reading every half an hour, which is 48 readings per day! On its own this data isn't very useful, so this session will show you both how to access the data and what you should be looking for. It is applicable to all school staff from premises managers to sustainability coordinators, bursars and interested governors.
Date/ time tbc: Autumn 2011 twilight session.
School Sustainability Coordinators Conference 2012
After the enormous success of the last three Sustainability Coordinator Conferences, funding has been secured by Hampton Hill Junior School to hold another conference in 2012. More details to follow, but the event is provisionally booked for 31st May.
Pupil Conference and Solar Car Challenge 2012
As above, the pupil conference and solar car challenge will be held again in 2012. Keep posted for more information.
