Full of Life Fair 2012
Over 350 residents and carers attended the Council’s annual Full of Life celebration for older residents on Tuesday, 2 October.
Residents tried their hands at Nordic Walking, arts and crafts sessions and juggling during the day-long event held at the Stoop (Harlequins Rugby Club) in Twickenham.
Stalls from Age UK, Richmond Ramblers, local community groups, Richmond Museum, the Fire Service and many more, offered useful advice and information to attendees.
The event was completely free, with complimentary tea, coffee and lunch.
A big thank you to the volunteers from Richmond Council, Volunteering Richmond, The Woodville Centre in Ham and the DWP, who were indispensible and helped ensure the day ran smoothly.
Thank you to the Woodville Centre in Ham for the complimentary tea and coffee for attendees and stallholders on the day.
Thank you to the Abnash, Pavani and Rose from Ishkama for offering free hand massages to attendees.
Thank you to Greggs Bakery in Twickenham for the kind donation of 100 muffins for the event.
Finally to all stallholders for making the day a success.
