Babbling Babies

25 April - 23 May 6 June - 4 July

Focusing on the early language and communication skills babies need as they get to know the people and the world around them. Includes how to use signs to support early communication and developing first words. For babies 3-18 months.

Baby Massage

Course 1: Wednesdays 5 June to 3 July

Course 2: Fridays 7 June to 5 July

A unique way of spending time and bonding with your baby.

Being in Rhythm

The sessions include a variety of music activities, tailored to meet the needs of the group. Helps build positive and sensitive bonds between you and your baby and teach confidence, security and love.

Chatter Time

An opportunity to relax and meet other parents with children aged 0 to 5 years in a warm and friendly environment. Occasional activities and drop-ins by professionals.

Cookie Tots

15 April - 30 May

A group activity where parents and carers help their children create easy-to-make recipes and then join in with music, games and activities based around preparing and enjoying food. These classes promote healthy eating and food awareness whilst building confidence and encouraging independence. Different recipes give the kids a chance to explore their senses and express their creativity and they get to take home what they’ve made. For children aged 2-5 years.

Diddi Dance

Funky dancing and exercises for toddlers and their parents from walking onwards.

Domestic Violence Support

Refuge Community Outreach Service offers support and advice around domestic abuse, staying safe, managing harassment and safe child contact.

Homestart Universal Group

Offering parents, carers and children a safe, nuturing and creative environment tht will foster children’s development and confidence through playing, exploring and experimenting. Experienced staff are available to answer questions on child development and accessing other services. Learning activities and a healthy snack are provided.

Incredible Years

9 May - 18 July (excluding 30 May)

The programme offers simple techniques to support and nurture the development of your little one, whilst having fun and enhancing your confidence as a parent. The programme will equip you with a useful toolkit of approaches which promotes positive nurturing skills helping children to learn and grow emotionally and socially.

Lisa’s Multi-sports

7 June - 26 July (Vineyard Church)

Fun and enjoyable session for children and parents to play together and to try different sports and games.

Messy Play

19 April - 24 May (Vineyard Church)

Join in the fun with lots of different messy play activities.

Midwives Clinic

All day pre-natal checks to be carried out by midwives from Kingston Hospital for local women in varying stages of pregnancy. By appointment only through Kingston Hospital, 020 8546 7711 (x2626).

Move with Me

Do you have concerns about your attachment with your child? Are you finding it diffiuclt to understand what your child is communicating? Come and chate with the dance movement therapist and support your attachment and attunement. Contact reception for more details.

Paediatric First Aid and Child Safety

Course 1: 22 April - 3 June (excluding 6 and 27 May)

Course 2: 17 June - 15 July

An accredited course for parents and carers with children under 5 years.

Relate Family Counselling

Confidential, free counselling support for families with a range of concerns and issues. To book, please speak to a member of Children’s Centre staff. Other times also available if needed.

Sparkle Time

If you have a concern about your child’s language, concentration, behaviour or physical skills, join this fun and interactive drop-in for the under-5’s; a child friendly structure with focused time together. There is also time for parents to work safely on their anxieties and worries and ask for specialist advice.

Stay and Play

Mums and dads, carers and childminders to meet and share with their children two hours of play and singing.
