1.The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate the redevelopment of 33 Montague Road they intend to make a temporary Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a road closure in Montague Road, Richmond to facilitate deliveries which need to be craned onto site.
2.Whilst the works take place no person may permit a vehicle to proceed in Montague Road between Onslow Road and Friars Stile Road where relevant signs and/or cones are placed.
3.Whilst a section of Montague Road is closed between house numbers 33 – 37, traffic can access the rest of the road from Friars Stile Road or Onslow Road.
4.The order will come into effect on 22 August 2012. The works are anticipated to be in progress for a period of 2 weeks, i.e. until 5 September 2012. The order will remain in force for a period of 3 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
5.The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
6.Nothing in the Order applies to:
(a)any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;
(b)anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a traffic warden; or
(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
7.Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
