About the Partnership
The Community Safety Partnership (CSP) involves the Council Community Safety Team
(pdf, 17KB) and local Police working with other local organisations to reduce crime and disorder within the Borough. The Partnership was formed in 1998 in response to the Crime and Disorder Reduction Act.

Community Safety Partnership Plan
The Community Safety Strategy Group
(pdf, 43KB) is a small group of partner representatives. It holds regular meetings
(pdf, 56KB) to manage delivery of the Community Safety Partnership Plan for 2011-14
(pdf, 154KB).
The Plan is based on the results of an annual Strategic Assessment
(pdf, 460KB) (or analysis of crime reduction priorities) followed by consultation at a Face the People meeting
Partner organisations include Community and Police Partnership (CPP), Ethnic Minorities Advocacy Group (EMAG), London Fire Brigade, London Probation Trust, NHS Richmond, Richmond Housing Partnership (RHP), Youth Offending Team (YOT)
Advice from other Council teams
The Partnership works closely with other Council teams whose work has an impact on crime reduction. The work areas include CCTV, Street Scene Enforcement including fly-tipping, dog fouling & control and graffiti removal, noisy neighbours, road safety education, Trading Standards including their work on bogus callers, emergency planning, parking enforcement and premises licensing.
