The Adult and Family Learning Parent Support Programme
Adult and Family Learning provides a range of opportunities for families to learn. For many adults, a family learning activity will be the first step towards gaining new skills or developing existing ones.
We offer mothers and fathers living in the Richmond area who do not have 5 GCSEs, or a similar qualification, a new opportunity to get qualifications or experience. This learning opportunity will not only support parents in their own development of skills and work opportunities, but will build confidence in supporting their children’s learning at home.
The programme will help to identify your existing skills and strengths, it will work with you to decide what you want to do, and it can offer you support to achieve this.
The Adult and Family Learning group gives you a chance to better yourself. Even when they help find you a job or start you off in your career they don't just stop there. They give you support in every way possible. Without them some families feel they have no way to turn. Our family now feels like we are achieving something as a family and all moving in the right direction.
