In regard to the ULEZ expansion due to take place in August 2023 has Richmond Council signed or is intending to sign the 'section 8' agreements to allow TfL to install the cameras on roads under Richmond Council's control.

Full Disclosure - 28 February 2023

The Council has signed a section 8 agreement with TfL regarding the extension of the ULEZ. The agreement ensures the Council is consulted upon and able to comment upon the proposed location of cameras and signs. Without an agreement, TfL could seek to use reserve powers without consulting with the Council.
