In accordance with the Care Act 2014 &/or The Care and Support (Direct Payments) Regulations 2014 please can you advise what is the hourly rate for direct payments paid by your council to those who are in receipt of direct payments/personal budgets.

I refer to your request for information received on 20 January 2023. Please see the information below in response to your request: -

Your Request:

In accordance with the Care Act 2014 &/or The Care and Support (Direct Payments) Regulations 2014 please can you advise what is the hourly rate for direct payments paid by your council to those who are in receipt of direct payments/personal budgets.

Our Response:

The indicative hourly rate: £15.82 and includes NI, holiday pay, employer pension, sickness and employee liability insurance. Care agencies are paid at their charge rates.
