Subject: Kew Road protected cycle lanes

What is the usage by cyclists and scooters of the Kew Road protected cycle lanes in 2022? How much has it increased from the period before these cycle lanes existed?

Give further details which you believe will assist the Council in locating your information: I believe these cycle lanes, consisting of raised posts, were introduced in 2020

Full Disclosure - 10 January 2023

In response to this FOI request, the Council does not currently hold data for 2022 as per the request. We do have the attached report (presented at Committee in January 2022) which provides data up to 2021. Officers also undertook a spot check in October 2022 which showed more than 4,000 cyclists using the Kew Road cycle lanes for the week assessed. This showed that cycle levels remained consistent with those reported in 2021.
