Properties not allowed parking permits

Within the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames we are acutely aware that the demand for parking outstrips the available on-street parking spaces. To try and improve this situation agreements are made between the Council and property developers that future occupants of:

  • Existing buildings being converted or extended, and
  • New build developments

may not be allowed to purchase parking permits.

These agreements are made with the Council under Section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, and are public documents.

If you live or work in one of the properties listed below then you need to note the restrictions of parking permit issue. If you are a resident you will however be allowed to purchase Resident Visitor Parking Permits for your guests.
