Transport

If you find it difficult to get around, there are a number of different travel options and services that can make life easier for you.

  • Passes and permitsFind out more about the different travel passes that are available to you. These include Blue Badges, National Rail Cards and Freedom Passes.
  • Local and national transportHelpful information about local bus, train and underground services, with route maps, timetables, ticket details and online journey planners.
  • Motability schemeIf you receive a government funded mobility allowance, you may be able to use this scheme to exchange this for a car, powered wheelchair or scooter.
  • ShopmobilityIf you need help getting around, the wheelchairs and scooters offered by Shopmobility in Kingston and Hounslow could help.
  • Being drivenIf you have a disability or mobility problem and find it difficult to use public transport, there are a number of community transport options to help you get out and about.
