Additional Needs Grant

If your child has additional needs or a disability, Ofsted registered settings, including out of school, holiday play schemes and childminders, are able to apply for a grant to help support your child.

When looking for childcare, mention the additional needs grant to your preferred setting or childminder and they can apply for it on your behalf.

The grant can be used to find specialist training resources or to pay for additional staff to support your child.

The setting will ask you for information regarding your child’s needs and all you then need do is verify the information and sign the form.
