Purpose of consultation

Proposals to close Stanley Infant & Nursery School on 31 August 2010 and to expand the age and size of Stanley Junior School on 1 September 2010 were open for comment. Prior to the consultation, a meeting to explain the proposals was held at Stanley Junior School on 23 September 2009 for parents of current pupils and local residents.
